Is one able to seal a civil Court record so that potential employers can not access during background checks?

    Not for that reason, although some civil records can be sealed for appropriate reasons. Bankruptcy information is a federal matter, not a state one. If the information was false, it should have been objected to at the time. A record check usually involves criminal records and, sometimes, evictions. No one really goes and reads the details.
